Jeremiah 15:20-21
20 I will make you to this people
a fortified bronze wall;
and they shall fight against you,
but they shall not prevail against you;
for I am with you
to save you and to deliver you,
says the Lord.
21 I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked,
and I will redeem you out of the hand of the violent.
One thing is certain, God will always defend and deliver His people. This verse exposes a characteristics about God: He is a guardian and a protector.
God is the kind of Father and parent that wants His children to learn from experience—He wants His children to grow from experience all while He goes along with us throughout to protect and provide for us.
It is not beyond Him to cease the fight even before it starts, but He let it happen. God is not too quick to exert His powers boastfully. Instead, He reassures Jeremiah, that though they’ll attack him, not one single dent will be found in him because He is by Jeremiah’s side ready to defend and deliver him.
Your situation is no different—God is there with you. He will save you. He will protect and rescue you. He will deliver you, and the situation will not prevail over you.
Whatever battle you may be facing, and whatever obstacles life is currently throwing at you, the God of Jeremiah, is ready —boxing gloves and all—to defend and deliver you.
