Blah Blah Blah

It is everywhere

Every channel I flip—it is there

Every block I take—I feel it

Every corner I look—I see it

It is everywhere

Blah blah blah

Is all I hear

Blah blah blah

Is all I see

My mind

My thoughts

Are filled with blah blah blah

When I sleep, I think of Blah Blah Blah

It is everywhere

How do I get rid

Of you chaos

That has refused to give me rest

And snatched away my peace

Ah!

Blah blah blah—stay away

Please,

I long for peace,

I beg.

Author’s Note:

To some who don’t understand the verbiage used to describe the current pandemic and economic standing in the media…Blah Blah Blah is what it begins to sounds like. Even to those who do understand, the plethora amount of information dispersed within a short period of time also begins to sound like blah blah blah when the brain tries to filter what’s useful and what’s garbage.

Blah Blah Blah can become mentally overwhelming the more we expose ourselves to it. For the sake of your mental health, please, try to limit your social media and news outlet intake, if you can.

Thanks for sharing!.. I have a few news apps on my pc and I spend about 5 minutes browsing to catch up on what is happening outside of my little part of the universe and then it is back to listening to music and following my dreams…. do not have Facebook, Twitter, etc… ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. No Facebook? No twitter? That must be very relieving and blissful. I like your method of managing what you expose yourself to. More music and inspiration time…less media.
Thank you for stopping by…itโ€™s nice seeing your comment.

Lol..a very funny but valid quote. Thanks for sharing that and your thoughts, Dutchll.
