Individual Specific

Storms are custom made—storms are individual specific. Yours is different from mine and also different from the ones your siblings experience. Just as no two fingerprints are ever the same, no two storms are ever the same: similar but never the same.

The good news is that you have been designed by the Creator to handle whatever storms that may come your way.  Your attitude, your mindset, your thoughts, and your emotions determines how well you handle each storm. You have to mentally and internally position yourself to not let the storm knock you down, but rather use the storm to soar and fly. The very storm knocking others down is what you’ll use to fly if only your attitude and mindset aligns.

The best of a human being doesn’t come out until they’re in trouble. Adversity comes for a purpose: challenges come to separate those that are serious about their dreams from those that aren’t. When your mind is set on a specific goal, no level of violent disturbance will deter or dissuade you from achieving said goals. Instead, such disturbance would persuade and ignite an ever determined attitude to fervently accomplish that which you have set your mind to. Do not be discouraged by your current storm—it’s natures way of asking you how bad do you want it? If the answer is ‘really bad,’ then you will dust yourself up and keep pushing while reminding yourself that it is all but for a while. This too shall pass…the storm that has shaken you up today will be no more tomorrow.

It is written

1 Corinthians 10:13: No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

God in His infinite mercy has reassured you that He will never give you more than you can handle. Though it comes in varying degrees and intensity, your current storm is not uncommon to mankind. Adjust your attitude, modify your thoughts, and tailor your mindset—and in due time you will begin to reap and unfold the hidden blessings dressed up as a storm.

Push on and keep on soaring.
