I’m a hot mess!

But Cyn, “I’m a hot mess!” she exclaimed. Instantly, I responded “and so what?!” She looked at me with intense surprise and confusion as though I must be out of my sane mind to think God will want anything to do with a hot mess like her. Therein lies the problem.

God can and will bless a “hot mess.” He understands our weakness as a human and is ever willing to work with us. Don’t shy away from Him because the world has someone how managed to convince you that your “hot mess” is beyond repair.

He is constantly looking for a “hot mess” to work with. He is an experienced professional, with many years of experience, when it comes to working with a “hot mess.” All He need from you is to be available and make yours open to Him. He will bless you beyond measures and fix everything you ever thought to be a “hot mess” in your life.

“I’m a hot mess” is yet another excuse to mentally convince yourself to remain stagnant because no one in the world wants to deal with a “hot mess.” But guess what, God is not “no one.” Unlike the world, who condemns and rebukes your “hot mess,” God will welcome and embrace you just the way you are. He judge not like the world does, and will rebuke you not.

In the midst of your “hot mess,” He sees and appreciates the beauty in you. You are the perfect “hot mess” He is looking for to carry out His work…only if you let Him in. He’s the perfect fixer for a perfect “hot mess.”
