One person to believe in you… that’s all you need. And it’s okay if that person is you.
Stop waiting on your parents, siblings, friends, coworkers, supervisor, church member, spouse, children, etc to believe in your dreams, goals, and aspirations.
More importantly, do you believe in yourself? Do you, deeply and honestly, believe in you? That you can accomplish your goals? Do you?
While it’s amazing and a wonderful feeling to have loved ones support you in all you do, it is not enough for them to believe in you meanwhile you don’t even believe in yourself. My dear, if you keep waiting for all your loved ones to always support you in all you do–you’ll be waiting for a long while. Support from loved ones is a plus–the icing on the cake not the cake itself. The cake itself is you believing in you.
There will be projects and events that loved ones won’t show up or support–what then do you do? Do you cancel the event? Do you quit your project? I hope not.
Do what you have to do–if you have to cry, cry it out, if you have to scream, scream loud at the top of your lungs–do whatever it takes to get the hurt and disappointment out of your system. But, the show must go on with or without their support.
It is my wish and hope that whoever is reading this have all the support they deserve from loved ones. But if you don’t, I am here to remind you that the believe you have in yourself is more than enough.
And that, I too, believe in you–so get to work!
Love & light.
