Perfect Timing

There is no such thing as perfect timing. Maybe, semi-close-to-being-perfect timing, but never perfect.

Many of us postpone tasks we want to do and accomplish in life because we await the perfect timing. Not to be the bearer of ‘bad news’ but, that perfect timing will never come. We ought to make use of our now instead of putting our dreams and aspirations on hold for later. Now is the later you talked about yesterday, and later is the now you’ll talk about today.  Start Now.

Isaiah 45:2 reassures you that God will go before you, and make the crooked places straight. So you see, you job is to start; and God will make ways where there seems to be no way. Because you are God’s child, your timing will always be perfected.

There is no perfect timing; start now. The time will perfect itself once you begin.

There was a time I found myself postponing and living my now to accommodate a timing that I wasn’t even sure was going to come. It wasn’t until I realised what I was doing and stopped that everything started to align itself.

God is the only one with the perfect timing, unless you are waiting on His timing and not yours, then wait on Him.

  3. I disagree that there is no perfect timing but agree that you have to act now. To me “Because you are God’s child, your timing will always be perfected.” means you create your own perfect timing. I see what you mean and it is well put.

    1. Yes! It’s all about creating your own “perfect timing.” So in essence, you can create your “perfect timing,” but don’t wait for it to create itself.
      Thanks for the input!

  4. Great post!!! Too often we wait for the “perfect time,” but the truth is the perfect time doesn’t really exist.

  7. Now is a good time as any to do things. However, sometimes the timing is perfect. It happens spontaneously when things are already in action. Fleeting moments.

    1. What makes it perfect? How do one know that all is now perfect?
But well said! I agree that it can ‘spontaneously’ happen when already in motion. Key word; in motion.

      1. You’re right – perfect is not easy to define. But to me, it’s that moment when all I feel is bliss.

  9. Nice perspective on finding our way to accomplish things by not just relying on ourselves, with Gods help we can find and make the time. A lot to do with mindset as well. Great point and love how you brought out a bible verse to be encouraging.
