There is nothing you are going through right at this very moment, or currently experiencing that is coincidental or accidental.
God is an intentional God. He doesn’t accidentally bless you and neither does He mistakenly allow you take on a challenge for the sake of doing so.
He is a purposeful God. He is a reasonable God. He knows what He is doing.
The challenges, the pain, the disappointments, and the trials and tribulations are all intentional for a purpose best known to God. There are a thousand and one reasons why God will allow His children go through challenges: for one, it could be to get your attention, for He is indeed a jealous God. Two, it could be to draw you nearer to Him and learn to lean and depend on Him. Often times, it is in the midst of challenges that we grow in Christ the most. Lastly, it could be to prepare you mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and/or physically for where He plans to propel you into. Whatever reason it maybe, keep in mind that it is intentional. Challenges doesn’t mean He loves you any less or simply just wants to see you suffer: no. Sometimes these challenges are mandatory for your next phase in life, or sometimes it could be because the devil knows that you are so strong in Christ that he attempts to shake and weaken you.
Jeremiah 1:5 tells us that even before we were formed in our mother’s womb He knew and sets us apart. He knew you even before your mother knew she was pregnant. You are special to Him. Furthermore, Jeremiah 29:11 tells us His thoughts are of good towards us and not of evil. In other words, God’s plans for us are plans of prosperity and not of harm. He wants the best for us just as much as we want the best for ourselves, but we have to trust Him and trust His process. We have to lean not on our own understanding but on His.
God never makes mistake. He says what He means and means what He says. His words towards your life are intentional. His blessings are intentional.
He is an intentional God.
